This is January’s challenge and the fabulous little calendar I made from all those photos:

This was the easiest of the weekly challenges so far.  Thanks to the lovely Miss Fran and her cloud-dreaming, I’m a wee bit obsessed with clouds.  Cloud-dreaming is the perfect way to waste a little time when you’re stuck in traffic or waiting for the kids at school, it makes hanging out the washing a little easier to bear and it takes me back to my childhood where I’d imagine all sorts of weird and wonderful things way up there in the clouds.  Since I have my phone with me all the time, it’s ever-so-easy just to snap away and then post them to Instagram {but that’s a whole other obsession}.

These are just a few of my favourites clouds from the past week, except for the heart in the centre, it’s from a little while ago.

Week 19: Whatever you please…

The first was taken after a long, long day at the dam – not technically perfect, but I like it.

The second makes me smile.  When I saw this one, my thoughts went to two people – the gorgeous Kristen, whose love of birds started my own mini-obsession and the lovely Fran, the cloud-dreaming Queen.  Thank you both for reminding of the overwhelming beauty that can be found if one just looks up.
