I’ve had a strange couple of weeks. I’ve been feeling blah – hard to describe really. I’ve been doubting myself, my photography and my abilities, this blog, worrying about how other’s see me and a few other things. I don’t regret anything and I’m not normally one to dwell on things, but again, that blah…

Oh honey, you are so beautiful inside and out, and so very talented. I can't begin to tell you how touched I am that my post was what you needed to hear this week. The wishing continues that we were not three states apart, virtual hugs just don't cut it sometimes. You will always be perfect to me ♥ ♥ ♥ xx K
And you are so very, very beautiful – inside and out, Ms. Rikki Reid! So perfectly imperfectly, you

I go through periods like you've just described every now and then Rikki and I know my daughters do too. I think sometimes we have to go through the blahs to make a discovery about ourselves. Part of growing into ourselves I think. I've learned, over the last few years, to trust the process and be more patiant with my self. I love this self portrait…so real…so beauty-full. Thanks for sharing hon!
A beautiful post, a beautiful heart, a beautiful woman – completely ♥
Rikki, You are truly one of the most beautiful people I know. I'm proud of your self-portraits, and I often share them with others, but this is by far my favorite!
I too have been reading Create. Live. Be. It is wonderful, isn't it?
I hope the blahs make their visit a short one.
Hugs,
Hayley

I love you self portraits too. The bottom one is so fantastic! I am planning on taking a black and white film photography class this fall. I'm excited to delve into the world of film. Not to say I won't shoot digital, I just want to get to know film too
great post Rikki!
Rikki, I absolutely LOVE your film shot! It makes me think of a David Lynch film – you totally look like one of his leads.
Gorgeous work and gorgeous new logo! I like it! Lara
Oh I used to skip a little when taking a roll in to be developed! Love this post and your new logo
